Set aboard a ship of Irish immigrants on route to America, experience the stirring music, lively step-dancing, and tales in the tradition of the Celtic Bards as these brave souls leave their homeland behind for the New World. About 100 years ago, besieged by troubles, fifty thousand Irish citizens embarked for America. It is with a mixture of nostalgia and hope that they celebrate the Winter Solstice, breaking out their instruments and songs, warming the deck with their music and reminiscences. A celebration for the whole family will be performed by a cast of 80 including O'Rourke's Revelers, the Wren Children, the Modern Brass Quartet, Irish Step dancers, and Tony DeMarco and Friends and more.
