Checklist The Play (A Romantic Comedy)

Checklist The Play examines the struggles and challenges that occur within inter-racial relationships. The play brings to light the decisions people make when dealing with love, family and friends. Through the eyes of the character Jessica, played by the sensational actress Brenda Raquel, we explore her journey to finding “Mr. Right”. Jessica has a definitive "checklist" which explains what she wants in a man. By chance though, after a charming encounter with the leading character Dexter, played by the legendary actor Khalid Burgos, she is conflicted with the reality that her criteria need’s to change. The Checklist also includes an array of hilarious up and coming acting & comedic talent such as Instagram’s Mr. Commodore, Tommy Pena also known as “T5K”, and John Calzado. Additionally, we are delighted to have the brilliant and beautiful actress Yaya Vargas as a part of the team.

A Note from the Executive Producer:

I Win Group in association with BBS productions proudly invites you and your family to celebrate Mother’s Day with us. This year Checklist The Play will be at the beautiful Symphony Space theater. It will be an evening of fun and laughter as we honor all mothers with discounted ticket prices to the play. Thank you in advance for your support for this play and all the plays, throughout the years. Every show, concert, and play that is created, is with the intention to spread love and make you smile. I look forward to seeing you all soon. - Johnny J.
