Actors and admirers, including essayist Sloane Crosley (Look Alive Out There), columnist Lauren Duca (Teen Vogue), and Didion's nephew Griffin Dunne, come together for an evening of readings and discussion to celebrate the master of the personal essay, whose distinctive prose has influenced the work of hundreds of writers and journalists. Didion’s first nonfiction work remains decades after its first publication, the essential portrait of America in the sixties.
Joan Didion is not scheduled to appear at this event. This event will not include a book signing.
