Singer Linda Lister has been a soloist with the Prague Radio Symphony, Washington Symphony Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, Maine State Music Theatre, and Clocktower Jazz. The Durham Sun-Herald has described her singing as "gloriously refulgent, with a brightly etched sound that enchanted," while the Buffalo News praised her "strong, shimmering soprano" and the Las Vegas Review Journal noted her "outstanding voice and superb diction." She has performed a variety of roles in operetta and musical theatre including Woman 1 in Songs for a New World, Maggie in A Chorus Line, Casilda in The Gondoliers, Lolo in The Merry Widow, Fastrada in Pippin, and Jenny in Company.
