overview

Come out and enjoy Songs for the Hidden, a benefit concert by Sonder Productions! Every penny from this wonderful event will go directly to Mount Sinai Hospital's Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program (SAVI) and Got Your 6. These are two incredible organizations that help people who sometimes don't feel seen, or feel shadowed by societal stigma, regain the health and confidence they need to go out into the world and be their full selves. Sonder Productions is excited and very honored to be benefitting them with Songs for the Hidden!

Songs for the Hidden is a night packed with music, poetry, and togetherness! There will be performances from amazing up-and-coming artists including Alicia Krakauer, Bryan Hartlett, Carla Ogden, Daisy Guzman Torres, Eliza Albritton, Emmy Kuperschmid, Erin Lindsey Krom, Kaila Wooten, Kevin Riddagh, Mychal Leverage & Ruby Shadley, Natalie Michaels, and more. Along with the incredible entertainment, there will also be a live auction! We will have costume pieces and props from Sonder's summer production of Bonnie & Clyde, signed books, autographed memorabilia from Broadway shows, and other surprise items! Sonder Productions Founder Emmy Carlyle Albritton will be the host of the evening.

More About the Organizations:
The Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program (SAVI) was founded in 1984 as the Rape Crisis Intervention Program (RCIP). From SAVI's inception, we recognized how paramount it was to provide free services that address the needs of survivors-especially women and girls-with limited resources or limited access to them. Over time, many of these individuals and their loved ones have returned to support and develop the Program by sharing their experiences, skills, and time. Through this input and the recognition of the changing needs of survivors, the mission of SAVI has become threefold: To meet the needs of rape, sexual assault and domestic violence survivors by offering immediate crisis intervention in hospital emergency rooms, To follow up with psychotherapy, counseling and information both for past and present survivors and their families and friends, and To educate the public and professionals regarding services and issues of sexual and domestic violence.

Got Your 6 unites nonprofit, Hollywood, and government partners to empower veterans. We believe that veterans are leaders, team builders, and problem solvers who have the unique potential to strengthen communities across the country. As a coalition, Got Your 6 works to integrate the perspectives into popular culture, engage veterans and civilians together to foster understanding, and empower veterans to lead in their communities. Got Your 6 knows that most veterans leave the military seeking new challenges, and the campaign ensures that there are opportunities for them to continue their service. Together, Got Your 6 and its partners are shifting public perceptions so that veterans' leadership and skills are recognized and utilized at home to strengthen communities.
