Anthony de Mare returns to Symphony Space for the third and final statement of his inspired Liaisons Project featuring some of today's leading jazz, classical, music theater, pop, indie, and film composers reimagining their favorite Sondheim songs as solo piano works. The program will include NYC premieres from Wynton Marsalis, Andy Akiho, and Jherek Bischoff, plus encores of Steve Reich, Paul Moravec, Kenji Bunch, and Mason Bates, among others. This performance coincides with the release of the entire Liaisons collection on the ECM label.
