Help select the shorts for Selected Shorts!

On June 9, 2010, Selected Shorts will be planned by YOU! The evening will feature short stories selected by our listeners!

First, think of your favorite short story. Then tell us about it- post the title, and the author of the story below and tell the world why you love it.

Suggested stories must be published and 15 pages or less.

Please note this is not our short story writing contest. For information about that, check back soon.

On March 15, the initial round of suggestions will end, and our staff will sort through all of them to find the 20 most-suggested stories. The titles and authors of these 20 stories will be posted on our website. You will have until May 1 to vote on your favorite of the top 20 semi-finalists. On May 2, we will announce the top three stories, which will be performed by actors at Selected Shorts at Symphony Space on June 9. This event will be recorded for broadcast, podcast and on-demand streaming from the Symphony Space website.
