Thalia Film Class

Dive into a world of classic movies while exploring cinematic themes from a multitude of angles. See how these themes continue to influence modern film in this grown-up course for the film buff community. Observe, engage, and deconstruct classic films and themes with instructor Marshall Fine, long-time film critic/journalist and host of Symphony Space's own Thalia Film Club, along with Robert Milazzo, filmmaker and founder of The Modern School of Film in New York. The two-series course features twelve timeless films, beginning with Cine-Literacy 101 this fall.
