Meredith Monk & Vocal Ensemble
Proclaimed a “magician of the voice” and “one of America’s coolest composers,” Meredith Monk’s appearance with her renowned vocal ensemble at Symphony Space is her primary New York concert of the 2007/2008 season. New Spin: Talujon Percussion Quartet with Violinist Todd Reynolds

The M6: Meredith Monk Music Third Generation
Participants from Meredith Monk’s 2006 workshop at Carnegie Hall reconvene to carry on her legacy, performing an all-Monk program including Tablet, for three voices, piano and recorders, virtuosic duets from Facing North and Dolmen Music, one of Monk’s rarely performed though most celebrated works.
