Classics Declassified

This season, the American Symphony Orchestra celebrates the tenth anniversary of its hit ClassicsDeclassified series with a move to Peter Norton Symphony Space. As always, Leon Botstein and members of the American Symphony Orchestra will set out to explore masterworks in this series of informal, three-part Sunday matinee concerts:

Leon Botstein and the Orchestra discuss the composer and the work, illustrating in music how each masterpiece came to be written.

After a brief intermission, the work is performed in its entirety. You'll experience the music with fresh insight and understanding.

Following the performance, share your questions and comments with Maestro Botstein and the Orchestra in a special post-concert discussion.
