Additional Rehearsal Use, Tues-Fri only, pending theatre availability, $135/hr, 5hr minimum
Symphony Space provides and producer must use ONLY theatre's Box Office service (no off-site sales), Front of House staff and Technical Advisor. If sound system and/or projection is required, producer MUST use theatre's contracted services and may not bring in their own sound system or projectionist. Theatre does not provide stage crew. Producer must provide sufficient staff to load-in/out, set-up, focus & restore light plot, and to sell Producer's merchandise (no producer refreshment sales allowed).
ANCILLARY FEES
Sound Tier 1, included in rental rate: one microphone on stand, which user may turn on and off as necessary
Sound Tier 2, all services beyond Tier 1: Engineer for up to 8 hrs, including 1 hr break, $575, additional time at $50/hr
Steinway Piano concert "D" $265 includes tuning
Baldwin Piano grand $190 includes tuning
Projectionist up to 6 hours (Union Local 306), $400, additional time at $50/hr
Reserved Seating $275 per show
Audio Recording, Archival, $250
Audio Recording Class 1, Stereo mix night of show, $675
Audio Recording Class 2, Multi-track mix night of show, $1,000
Audio Recording Class 3, Multi-track and commercial quality post-show mix, $1,500
Producer Merchandise Sales 20% of gross paid to theatre House Mgr following show(s)
Additional Security Guard(s) on show date, as needed, $25/hr, per guard
Box Office stays open one half hour past scheduled curtain time on day of show.
Additional Box Office beyond scheduled closing time $55 per half hour
CONSUMER FEES
Facility Fee included in producer-established ticket price, on sales from theatre box office and producer consignment, $1.50
Credit Card Sales 4.5% of theatre's credit card sales deducted at final settlement
PENALTY CHARGES
Show exceeding 3 hours from scheduled curtain time, $110/hr (Fri-Mon) or $90/hr (Tue-Thu)
Failure to load-out or strike by contracted time, $190 per half hour or part thereof
Failure to open house 30 minutes prior to scheduled curtain, $55 per half hour or part thereof
Cleaning Fee for failure to restore stage & backstage area to "as is" condition, $80 minimum
Returned Check Charge, $40
Late Payment Fee for failure to comply with agreement payment schedule, $10 per day
Security Deposit forfeited for failure to comply with theatre's No Smoking rule
-Theatre determines hours of use. Earliest load-in: 9:30am. Latest load-out: 12 midnight.
-The rates and ancillary fees do not apply to "special" and/or "unusual" use of Theatre including, but not limited to Film/Video/Photo Shoots, Fashion Shows/ Pageants and the like, which are subject to separate negotiation.
