Symphony Space’s gift to the city for the past 29 years. This year’s
marathon explored the world of Western opera over the past 400 years,
from Baroque to contemporary. Highlights included a Master Class in Bel
Canto singing with legendary soprano, Renata Scotto, the Opera Matinee
section, featuring the New York City Opera Orchestra conducted by Gerald Steichen, members of the Metropolitan Opera’s Young Artists Program.
