Thalia Kids' Book Club: Lincoln Peirce's Big Nate Series

Lincoln Peirce is a cartoonist/writer and the creator of the comic strip Big Nate. The strip appears in more than two hundred U.S. newspapers and online daily at comics.com. Born in Iowa, Peirce grew up in New Hampshire and began creating his own comic strips in the sixth grade. Before becoming a professional cartoonist Peirce taught art and coached baseball at an all-boy New York City High School. Big Nate: In a Class By Himself was featured on Good Morning America’s Summer Reading: The Best Books For Your Kids list. The New York Times’ bestselling book collection includes Big Nate: In a Class by Himself, I Smell a Pop Quiz, Add More Babies!, and others.
