About the Artists

John Green is the Michael L. Printz Award-winning author of Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, and most recently, Paper Towns. When he was little, he wanted to be an earthworm scientist, (There is a word for such a person: oligochaetologist.), but he killed off his entire earthworm farm due to his general inability to care for pets. Later, he made a list of things he was good at. The list included “telling lies” and “sitting.” So he became a writer. Mr. Green is also the co-creator (with his brother Hank) of the popular video blog Brotherhood 2.0, which has been watched more than 30 million times by Nerdfighter fans all over the globe. You can visit him online at www.sparksflyup.com. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife, Sarah.

David Levithan is an award-winning and New York Times-bestselling author of many books for teens including Boy Meets Boy, The Realm of Possibility, Wide Awake, Marly’s Ghost, and Love is a Higher Law. He has written two books with his friend Rachel Cohn, Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist and Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List. Mr. Levithan is one third of the pseudonym David Van Etten (with Chris Van Etten and David Ozanich), under which the novels Likely Story, All That Glitters, and Red Carpet Riot were written. He is Editorial Director/Vice President at Scholastic, where he founded their Push imprint. You can visit him online at www.davidlevithan.com. He lives in New Jersey.
