Anne Roiphe’s eighteen books include the memoirs Art and Madness and Fruitful, a finalist for the National Book Award, and the novel Up the Sandbox, a national bestseller. She has written for The New York Times, The New York Observer, Vogue, Elle, Redbook, Parents, and The Guardian and is a contributing editor to the Jerusalem Report. She lives in New York City.

Katie Roiphe is a professor of journalism at New York University and the author most recently of Uncommon Arrangements: Seven Marriages. Her articles have appeared in the New York Times, Slate, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and many other publications.
