We meet Jake Red Cloud in the short film Red Cloud a few years after issues #1 and #2 of the Red Cloud Origins comic book. Jake is looking for a new place and answers an ad in the newspaper for a room. Ms. Jeannine Parker a woman consumed by celebrity lifestyles and dreams of modeling and acting decides to rent a room to Jake. She has a young daughter named Ann Parker, whom she blames for crushing her dreams of stardom and love conquests. Ann is constantly surrounded by her mother's lifestyle of cigarettes, alcohol, soap operas, and poor male role models. One day one of Ms Parker's boyfriends gets out of line with Ann, Red Cloud steps in, showing him children should be respected. Jake sees Ann needs a sanctuary and a friend, so he decides to open up to her a bit and be a bit more warm. When doing so he re-assures her that she is never alone and takes her on a spirit journey to meet her spirit animal. In doing so Jake finds something that has been missing within himself as does Ann. The altercation in the kitchen makes Jeanine Parker (mother) develop a physical obsession with Jake. The dynamic of the relationship between the three, changes with dangerous results for all involved when Jake's past catches up with them.
Proceeds from this performance will benefit various charities which help the victims of human trafficking much like the comic book character of Jake Red Cloud.
