Lauded as one of the most influential American composers of the 20th century, John Cage was a leading figure of the post-war avant-garde. The New York Chamber Music Festival is proud to present John Cage at 100! on the exact date of John Cage's 100th birthday - September 5, 2012. This special tribute will start at 12:00 pm with John Cage on Film, a free presentation of videos featuring John Cage (including his 1960 performance of Water Walk), in addition to several artists' homages to John Cage (such as 6 AV by New York artist Thomas Kovachevich).
