The Aeolian Chamber Players, at the vanguard of music for 50 years, celebrate their anniversary with performances of significant works that they originally commissioned and that have since become contemporary classics, including Berio's O King and George Crumb's Eleven Echoes of Autumn. Also on the program, works by William Bolcom (Whisper Moon), Ralph Shapey (Discourse), and the world premiere of Two Shades by the dynamic Huang Ruo, who draws equal inspiration from Chinese folk, Western avant garde, rock and more.
