Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Helen Gahagan Douglas is a comedy-drama that
tells the true story of the infamous 1950 U.S. Senate race in which a young
Richard Nixon (this is the campaign where he earned Tricky Dick nickname)
destroyed the elegant Congresswoman. (and wife of Melvyn Douglas) Stars
Christine Lahti and James Naughton and proceeds benefit Nation Magazine. At
post reading reception ($100 ticket), mingle with cast members and contributors
to the magazine.
