Back for the fifth consecutive year, the joyous and inspiring Celebration Team presents dance for kids by kids, with more than 50 children ages 9–15 performing favorite works from NDI's repertory, including highlights from the 2009 Event of the Year: A Celebration of John Lennon.

For his 5th Anniversary Gala Concert, the eminent cellist Harry Wimmer takes you on a musical romp entitled "Believe It or Not" - Beethoven. Mr. Wimmer will perform some of Beethoven's most sublime works, such as the "Ghost" Trio and the profound 4th Cello Sonata, and side by side, in his usual historically uninformed manner, will bring to life other works by Beethoven and Anonymous.

The Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Symphonic Band celebrate their anniversary with a program featuring Respighi's "The Pines of Rome" and Shostakovich's "Festive Overture", as well as selections from La Cage Aux Folles, Over the Rainbow, The Thunderer, and a world premiere by James Adler.
